How long before I can snowmobile?

I know this sounds like a weird question. I still don't have a date (waiting on insurance approval) but it should be this month. I am planning on buying my husband a trip to a local resort, including a 2-hour snowmobile trip. I'm very excited! However, I'm wondering how long it will be after surgery before it's safe for me to do. Any ideas?

I could not lift anything more than 10 lbs for a month after surgery. So I'd say at least that long. You don't want to put any pressure on your abdomen area, and snowmobiling can be pretty taxing on that area.

I'm guessing it's at least a couple weeks before you'll even feel up to a long snowmobile ride. I think this is probably something you're going to have to ask your surgeon about and listen to your own body. Sounds like a really fun trip though.
