seaux_beautiful_vsg 63 Posted December 4, 2015 Nope because I've cooked somewhat healthy for the past few years my children eat what I cook. I'm 11 weeks out now though so I'm not sure what you're eating but I make a lot of baked chicken, fish, zoodles, seafood. Salad's. Not sure how far you are out but I also still buy some of the same things for them to eat so that they don't feel like they are being punished.
libby43 136 Posted December 4, 2015 Well my children are 18 and 21 and both live at home. They do their own cooking as they are very independent adult. You can't force grown children to eat what you prepare for meals. I was speaking mostly about wasting food and nobody to share my type of food choices with them. My taste buds has changed so much not everybody can eat the same way as me. So that being said some of my food goes to waste. Would like some ideas on better ways to make my food last longer. Shainadelphia 69 Posted December 5, 2015 Hi! I got tiny tupperware containers - tiny- the smallest they make holds half a cup I believe. Then, I batch cook(just did turkey chili) and freeze half of more of it in the tiny Tupperware. Easy to reheat. But otherwise I know what you mean - I just threw out yogurt cottage cheese and even chicken. I think we need to get used to buying less! My motto used to be to stock up while shopping. But now my fridge is really sparse. Good luck!
