VDB 800 Posted December 3, 2015 I, like many of you, have gone through many clothing sizes, and it keeps happening. The cost is incredible, especially as the seasons change. I have found some things in thrift stores for the first time since I got fat 40 years ago, but have recently discovered EBAY for men's clothing. Amazing variety. I found a very nice name brand navy blazer for $20, perfect jeans for $15, nice shirts for $10. Check out EBAY, I just donate them after I got through those sizes, but i could sell them on EBAY I suppose.

VDB 800 Posted March 28, 2016 Thanks for the tip, thrift stores here are very hit or miss. I am closing in on my permanent size, and have a really nice wardrobe, including sportcoats, sweaters, slacks, quality dress shirts, Pendleton wool shirts, etc. for all around $300. I love EBAY -- especially those sellers who take offers, feel like I am on American Pickers.
SamBwaR3 62 Posted March 28, 2016 Hell yes!! I've looked on Ebay before but now I'm going to make it more of a habit than Amazon! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using the BariatricPal App
DavidOso 272 Posted April 28, 2016 Thrift store are hit or (mostly)miss for bigger men's clothing. Ebay, enter what you want, size, color and poof-"new" clothes (that will only fit for several months!) Lather, Rinse, Repeat. I have saved thousands... I buy everything except socks and underwear on EBAY -- and am fully wardrobed from farm clothes to dress clothes, all of about 25 cents on the dollar.... makes my thrifty nature feel great
