Home around 4. Used daily fit pal to log food. On full liquids. Got my Protein in. I kinda feel full and hungry. My stomach feels firm. Passed gas no issues. Coughed a little so even though I felt hungry I'm assuming my stomach says I'm full. So I stopped eating. Took 2 pain pills. Feels like I did a million sit ups.

Every day should feel a little bit better. Walk as much as you can. Stay off the scale for now.

I felt like I'd gone 12 rounds and lost every one the day after surgery (but they removed my gall bladder and repaired a hiatal hernia too). Next day though fine. No need for pain meds. Good luck.

I've never heard of a cough as a "had enough" signal, but that doesn't mean it can't be. Common signals of satiety are hiccups, a sigh, a runny nose.

Since you mention coughing and the post-op soreness: When you feel a cough, sneeze or laugh coming on, press a bed pillow firmly against your midriff. It'll diminish the pain well enough by bracing you.
