ladee2279 29 Posted December 2, 2015 I hear various stories about how long the procedure takes and I understand it's different for every person and every surgeon. If you don't mind sharing, how long did your procedure take?
liannatx 897 Posted December 2, 2015 About 40 minutes, according to my DH, from when they took into surgery until they told him I was in the recovery room... . My good friend was in and out in 25 minutes.

DNABILL 3 Posted December 3, 2015 I had gastric bypass 29 years ago. A lot of scare tissue. It had tone revised 10 years ago. So this brings me to Monday's surgery. The surgery time was 5 Hours. They replace all the old mesh and liced the scare tissue. A very Big surgery. This was my last chance to have a bad put in. All went great. Very sore and 9 holes. It was worth every bit of the pain I had it done at Columbia Pres in NYC. Dr Marks Bessler, he is my hero. Two days later I am on pain Med and clear broth 2oz every 20 mins. Two Baristric advantage shakes a day for a week. For today I am working the band. One day at a time. Good Luck Bill
