I agree w/ you completely. I got the band 8/3/07. Today is my last day of clear, sugar-free and I'm a bit hungry. However, i'm not supposed to start full liquids until tomorrow, so instead of doing it my way, a way which has never worked, I decided I can wait one more day and just follow directions.
