GenaW828 117 Posted December 1, 2015 On Dec 4th will be my one yr sleeve anniversary, and I haven't lost any weight in like a month. I go back to the doctor on the 16th and I need to do something different. I have been getting tons of Protein getting less than 25 net carbs but I think I have plateaued. So today I have started my per op diet again. 2 Protein shakes and a meal under 300 calories ( 4 to 6 oz lean meat and a veggie), Has anyone had to do a restart and if so what did you do? Babbs 14,681 Posted December 1, 2015 Are you tracking your calories? I know it sounds funny, but every time I would stall, I would increase my calories and that would help. Our bodies get used to the low caloric intake, and sometimes we need to do something different to shake things up. Even if it's increasing by 100-200 calories. Sometimes upping your carb intake helps get things moving again, too. On the flip side, if you aren't' tracking, start. You need to know where you are at calorie, carb and Protein wise so adjustments can be made. Sometimes we think we are only eating a certain amount, and then find out once things are in writing in front of us we have let some extra sugar, carbs or calories slip in. That's why I think it's really important to track in the weight loss phase. You can't measure what you can't see! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Sounds to me like you're in a classic stall though. scale isn't moving, but clothes are shrinking. Sometimes the body just needs to take a little break.
