How long total did it take you to get an answer? My surgeon apparently submitted Wednesday of last week, and I haven't heard anything yet. I sent an email through BCBS fep website minds to see if they even received it. Still no answer. If I wanted to call would I just call the customer service number or what? I'm so impatient and I want this surgery before the end of the year since I have paid my deductible, but I am cutting it so close!!

I think it depends on the state you are in and your employer. I have BCBS of TX and it took 25 days.
