tmcx28 297 Posted November 30, 2015 and I am absolutely LOSING MY MIND. I'm so nervous that eating today is almost impossible, and I only slept for 2 hours last night. I'm terrified of the anesthesia, terrified of the surgery itself.. it's all I keep thinking about. Tomorrow is a new beginning and it seems so surreal that it's actually happening.I know a lot of others have their surgeries tomorrow, how is everyone holding up?! AnA92212 577 Posted November 30, 2015 What you are feeling is completely normal! Try to get some rest tonight (easier said that done, I know). Glad you have support. My mother in law went with me.
Sharkfighter58 8 Posted December 1, 2015 I'll hold a good thought for you. I'm sure you'll do fine. Anytime I have a medical procedure I try to remember that it feels like a monumentally huge deal to me, but for the nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgeons - this is what they do every day. This is what they know BEST and they'll take good care of you. I hope everything goes smoothly for you.

rking 484 Posted December 1, 2015 As soon as you can, after you arrive at hospital, ask if you can have a shot to calm you down. I mean a relaxant, not liquor Hahahaha. You will be fine!!
