liannatx 897 Posted November 29, 2015 I already had a Magic Bullet, and it worked great for full liquids and purees.

Bufflehead 6,358 Posted November 29, 2015 I love my immersion blender for Protein Shakes -- the shakes are smooth and creamy with no air bubbles or foam.
Dub 9,922 Posted November 29, 2015 Never fooled with purees. Figured that's what proper chewing is all about. I use the shaker bottles, ice and Water to mix Protein powders. I just don't want to fool with the clean up and mess of a blender and have yet to see the need.

TMG1980TMG 136 Posted November 30, 2015 I have 2 ninjas- this is the one I love best! It is awesome! http://m.kohls.com/product/prd-1974410/nutri-ninja-single-blender-with-auto-iq-.jsp
mrs kaje 347 Posted November 30, 2015 I have the Nutri Ninja Slim - it's great, I use it at least a couple of times a day, and the kids use it for smoothies and slushies. I just rinse the blade and cup under the tap when I finish with it, and leave it on the sink for next time (it gets a proper wash at the end of each day with the rest of the dishes). I don't usually keep appliances on the benchtop but it takes up hardly any room so I don't mind leaving this one out.

I think I'd be tempted to put stuff in the blender that I should't be eating, anyway. Protein powder, water, ice.......anything more than that seems to get me in trouble when it comes to shakes or thin consistency stuff.
