TinyTink 268 Posted November 25, 2015 Ok, sorry to be picky, but how many ounces of Water are you getting every day? How many grams of Protein? And on top of that do you incision sites look ok? Any fever?
JudeaJordon 25 Posted November 25, 2015 My incisions look fine get about 2-3 litre a day and about 60 grams of protien on a good day
TinyTink 268 Posted November 25, 2015 That's sounding pretty good to me. I'm worried that so much sleeping and resting is putting you at risk for a blood clot. Are you using blood thinners? Doing ankle exercises? I wish I had something more to offer you except to check in with your surgeon.
umo 86 Posted November 25, 2015 I remember being really sleepy too but I related it to all the meds I was on plus the anesthesia. I would fall asleep anywhere, it was bad! Keep walking around and drink tons of Water. It did eventually go away and I forgot about it until you asked the question. All the best.
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted November 25, 2015 Are you taking any Vitamins or supplements? It may be time to get some followup bloodwork to see if you need to add them in. Mine started me on Multivitamin 2x's a day B12, calcium citrate and D3. They have been adjusted according to my bloodwork

Until then I would crush them and hide them in almond butter
jane13 2,256 Posted November 25, 2015 @@JudeaJordon - I agree with the OP, maybe you need to get some BW done sooner and make sure you get the Vitamins in as well. Are you on BP meds? Mine made me extremely sleepy after -25 to -30 lbs. Maybe you need to look at that angle too.
rmgmomma 30 Posted November 25, 2015 I'm almost 4 weeks post too. Tired & low energy. I got my first B12 shot on Monday and that is helping some. I take Flinstones chewable vitamins with iron---I can get those down good. Best of luck! We'll get thru it ????
