That's sounding pretty good to me. I'm worried that so much sleeping and resting is putting you at risk for a blood clot. Are you using blood thinners? Doing ankle exercises? I wish I had something more to offer you except to check in with your surgeon.

I remember being really sleepy too but I related it to all the meds I was on plus the anesthesia. I would fall asleep anywhere, it was bad! Keep walking around and drink tons of Water. It did eventually go away and I forgot about it until you asked the question. All the best.

Are you taking any Vitamins or supplements? It may be time to get some followup bloodwork to see if you need to add them in. Mine started me on Multivitamin 2x's a day B12, calcium citrate and D3. They have been adjusted according to my bloodwork

I think it was some where between 4 - 6 weeks. Until then I would crush them and hide them in almond butter

@@JudeaJordon - I agree with the OP, maybe you need to get some BW done sooner and make sure you get the Vitamins in as well. Are you on BP meds? Mine made me extremely sleepy after -25 to -30 lbs. Maybe you need to look at that angle too.

I'm almost 4 weeks post too. Tired & low energy. I got my first B12 shot on Monday and that is helping some. I take Flinstones chewable vitamins with iron---I can get those down good. Best of luck! We'll get thru it ????

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
