A little surprised to get my A1C levels back

after almost 8 months post-sleeve surgery and 15 pounds away from being considered "normal" weight and my A1C level is 5.9 (pre-surgery and + 62 more pounds and it was 6.1). My doctor says I'm still pre-diabetic.

Keep in mind that A1C level is for the 3 months prior, so it may still go down as you go along.

A1C is, like stated, a 90 day "look" at your blood sugar levels.
