mokt 58 Posted November 23, 2015 This is an issue for me as well. I am 2 weeks out and still struggling with sleep due to not being able to sleep on my side like is usually would. I am exhausted! I tried sleeping with a pillow on my side but now help. I wake up around 3:00am and can't fall back to sleep. Very exhausted so I understand what you are going through. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful! Hopefully someone else out there has some tips that we could both use
anwen_ut 47 Posted November 23, 2015 This may not work for everyone, but I had a body pillow left over from my pregnancy and it helped immensely post surgery as well. I've even named him. We sleep together every night. My husband may be getting jealous.
thenewandbestme 81 Posted November 23, 2015 I tried a big thick wedge pillow I had bought for my mom when she was having trouble breathing. This was a lifesaver! ! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
Yaberhoo 358 Posted November 27, 2015 I slept in a recliner for the first week or so. When I moved to a bed, I put fluffy pillows under my arms like the armrests of the recliner. That seemed to help. Laying flat was not an option for me the first week.

Laying flat was not an option for me the first week. Same strategy here as well. I had to give the abdominal hernia time to heal. Never had much trouble with the sleeve. liannatx 897 Posted November 27, 2015 I made a Nest in the bed with pillows! sleeping on my back, with 2 pillows under my shoulders/neck/head and one on each side as armrests was the only way I could sleep on my back.
atontor 1,068 Posted November 27, 2015 Try sleeping on your backs with a good size pillow under your legs. It helped me a lot.
