Before I say anything, yes I went to my surgeon first, no I haven't been to my PCP since I went NPO and they blew out both my arms trying to get a blood draw and told me I should've drank lots of fluids, 2 side effects, 1 minor, 1 beginning to have a negative effect on me, I live in South Texas BTW.

#1 I have a sneezing side effect almost every time I eat, and no it's before I even feel full, my nose gets runny and I sneeze uncontrollably, surgeon and dietician are at a loss since they've only seen it when people were full.

#2 this one hurts, before surgery had trouble keeping warm, thought it was my circulation and obesity, was at 388lbs in January, now at 269lbs 10 months later, surgery was on June 10th I weighed 342.2lbs, now it's worse than ever, last night was our first major cold front here, 34 degrees( yes I know northerners lol)

My last blood work showed everything good except Vitamin D, took care of that blood pressure and circulation great, taking all my Proteins and Vitamins, and my nurse at work suggested B12 which I started taking 1 week ago, any suggestions or resources would help, don't mind the sneezing thingy and it's kind of funny but this regulating body temp has me hurting, I only slept 3 hours last night, and yes we had our central heat on, and I had a cover, but it's all day even at work, and I work out at the gym 3x a week and I'm more mobile than ever, help please.......

One of my signals that I am "full" is sneezing. My guess is that even if you don't have the feeling of being "full" your body is signaling that you are.

As to being cold, I have been cold since the minute I was in recovery. My guess is it is partially because of healing/recovery and partially from fat loss. I think the only time I have felt warm since surgery was when it was 95 degrees in the sun at the pool this summer. I wear a long-sleeved rash guard in the indoor pool I swim in now because my arms and shoulders stay cold. I also start out with a pile of quilts and blankets when I get in bed. I eventually peal most of them off but I start out cold.

Sorry I don't have a solution for you, but I can empathize.

A feel your pain with the suffering from cold. I have severe cold intolerance too- and I live in Florida. Some things that helped me are: I have an electric blanket on my bed and turn it on high about 45 minutes before I go to bed so it's nice and toasty. That seems to help while I sleep. I also found a heated throw at Target. I keep that on my couch. I wear a tee shirt or tank top underneath everything.

Seems like most of us are severely cold.

You could have the doctors check your thyroid just to make sure your levels are normal. A low thyroid can cause cold intolerance.

Good luck!

I haven't even had surgery yet. I have 3 heating blankets that I use. I usually I use one of those, a big plush fleece blanket and a down comforter to sleep with. I live in Ohio lol.

Sneezing could be a food allergy you developed? Dairy maybe?

Thyroid is great, electric blanket is out, have an OCD about anything electric on me while I sleep, I wear shorts most nights and take off my shirt, it's even hard to sweat anymore, I drink my fluids, and then some, I wore a long sleeve at the beach this year in 93 degree weather and I was very comfortable..... At a loss here my peeps

Don't know about the sneezing.

I have severe cold intolerance that is painful. At first, thought my body had to re-regulate after losing weight. Then docs tested me and found out I have severe Raynaud's disease caused by a spine disease that I've had for many years.

Things that help me are drinking/eating hot things, a small electric throw blanket (about $20.00 at Walmart) when I watch TV, layers of clothing, keeping busy and moving, an infrared heater pointed straight at me (they are economical on electric, safe, and not all that expensive anymore) I got this one, works great! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002QZ11J6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
