People are starting to question if I am the same person. I still have 50ish pounds to lose so I'm not sure I want to do it just yet??

I'll simply get mine done when it's due.

It'll be funny to laugh at one day.

You can always go back when you are at goal and tell them you need a replacement and they'll retake your photo and give you a new one.

I went back because I moved states but I had mine done at 7 months post op. I actually need to do it again but I am going to wait until I am at goal.

I haven't even changed my Facebook pics yet, I want to wait til goal.

Thankfully. It got replaced when it was due. After carrying around an awful, sad and fat looking license photo for over 10 years... I think the picture this time is digital and crisper looking...

Bonus. Fabulous HAPPY and lean looking picture for the last 4 years and got an auto renewal for 4 more????.

Sometimes it is the little things

Good question. Now I'm wondering about the passport photo I had done yesterday for my Mexico surgery trip. I don't want to be stuck somewhere a couple years from now looking so fabulous they won't let me pass! Lol

@@TinyTink LOL!! I will have to have my passport redone also.

My drivers license doesn't renew until 2020 so I can't wait for that. Suppose I will hold out as long as I can (or until someone tells me I am completely unrecognizable ????). I had blood work done this morning and the lab tech kept questioning me. Nicely actually. Kind if funny. I just didn't realize it was THAT different. Clearly it is. I know I am thinner at 95 pounds down. I don't have sort of body dysmorphia (the I think I had that problem in my former self as I never recognized how large I actually was) but I sure wish I could see what others see!

I kinda love having my old pic LOL and it proves how few people even look at the pic or compare it to the person standing in front of them!

Have only had two people ever mention it and I look like a completely different person. one who had lost the same amount of weight himself so he "got" it and once at airport security where they said I should probably get a new one.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
