hollybower 122 Posted November 16, 2015 How many of you had pre op testing and what was it? Is there anyone who didn't have anything pre-op tests besides the blood work?
animallover1247 249 Posted November 16, 2015 (edited) My preop testing was tons of blood work at initial appointment with the surgeon, EKG, chest x-ray, and endoscopy. I will have more blood work right before the surgery as well. That was it! Oh and the psych eval! Edited November 16, 2015 by animallover1247
Mom26 313 Posted November 16, 2015 2 weeks prior to surgery, at the hospital, I had an EKG, Chest xray and blood work.
IncredibleShrinkingMan 437 Posted November 16, 2015 A bunch of electrolyte-specific tests on top of the full panels, a sleep study consult (no study ultimately required) and various other things by the pulmonologist, a barium swallow (the most awkward one of all), a chest x-ray, and the psych eval. mrs kaje 347 Posted November 17, 2015 I just had to get a blood test. The other surgeon in my area asks for a psych appointment so I skipped him, haha.
