syller 0 Posted November 24, 2015 @@Jen Em Cee I was sleeved on thurs the 19th so I'm 4 days post op. Trying to get down the liquids and get in my Protein Drinks which has not been easy...two sips and I'm so stuffed, it hurts. Today has been the day with the most pain...thinking maybe I over-did it at the weekend. I'm sore and tired, but thankfully the gas is subsiding... I haven't started Vitamins yet but I ordered Wellesse liquid vitamins from Amazon. I tried them before surgery and they were not bad. The price was much more affordable than others. Congrats to everyone for taking this big step! Best of luck to you all!

Belize3456 12 Posted November 24, 2015 My doc ok'd my remedy for moving my digestive system along. It worked before surgery. I am a holitic nut so she said go ahead. You rub Castrol oil in your tummy place a plastic bag or Sara wrap over tummy and place s heating pad. It moved gas out etc. Castrol oil works if you swallow also but way too yucky at this stage of healing. I promised it works. My colonic theraphist says it's been used for hundreds of years. My mom gave me as a child also.
lahhleslie 30 Posted November 24, 2015 I can only get in 1 Protein Shake at 5 days post op and then I'm full for like 2-3 hrs and don't want to drink. It's exhausting! I'm happy I'm at least getting 1 in. I use Isopure chocolate with a tsp of PB2. It's a lot getting maybe 40 of Fluid in and it's rouggggh!!! I'm on Clear Liquids for 2 weeks and I can't wait to start puréed food. Lol it's been a struggle post op a lot of nausea and vomitting. Just sticking to 1 day at a time! Good luck fellow sleevers!
