A lot people claim it is because of my age. I am 5'4, and 64 yrs young. I have two major stokes and unfortunate for me they had me a lot of steroids and other meds that assisted my weight gain, (of course the rest of my own doing. Can someone help with the best ways to help boost my lost..I have registered to join the gym..any thing would be helpful..
charjsweet 27 Posted November 13, 2015 Hi Theresa, Is that like 33 pounds already. You're doing good. If you still have to take the steroids talk to your doctor about the best dosage. Stay hydrated. Walk, walk, walk. When you feel like having something that's not so great for you walk some more. My doctor gave me a regimen that included weight training. I use the bands and sometimes weight. It has helped a lot. Though I gained like 10 pounds before I started to lose again.. It was all muscle. I am pre-op so I'm trying to get in better shape so I can go back to work 2 weeks after the sleeve. You should pat yourself on the back for 33 pounds that's more than 15 pounds a month. Slow and steady is ok. If you stall or gain talk to your doctor. I'll be rooting for you Theresa. You're doing it and doing it well.
