fatchick84 53 Posted November 13, 2015 I go to the doc Monday to schedule my appt and I've read some horror stories with post op patients. I'm freaking myself out. I understand with any surgery there are complications. I am thinking of backing out. Did anyone else feel this way before surgery?
KindaFamiliar 3,867 Posted November 13, 2015 Yep... This was my first ever surgery... I'd never been unconscious before... I was pooing my pants... I said goodbye to everyone the day before, just in case I died on the table... What a dickhead I looked the next day... Oh well, it happens... There's nothing at all wrong with being nervous... But don't back out... You've come too far now... And believe me.. The results are worth it... Good luck to you...

fatchick84 53 Posted November 13, 2015 Thank you! You definitely sounds like me. I would tell everyone goodbye too lol I'm just a little dramatic. Thanks for the encouragement!
The Candidate 3,215 Posted November 13, 2015 @@fatchick84 The feelings you're having are completely normal. There are risks with every surgery, but sometimes the risks are worth it, especially when staying the way you are now isn't working. This was my first surgery too, and I'd do it over again in a second. Best of luck!
