CincyDave 3 Posted November 12, 2015 But I'm scared to death. As much as I want this, I'm not sure I'm ready for it. I really just want to call them and cancel and order a pizza. Are these feelings normal?
The Candidate 3,215 Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) It's very normal. This surgery is life changing. It's tough waiting, and your mind tends to start filling in the blanks with "what it's". We all experience this so don't be alarmed. I can tell you unequivocally that I have zero regrets. My quality of life has increased immeasurably. I have so much more energy and zest for life. I'd do it all over again without question. Congrats and best of luck! Edited November 12, 2015 by The Post Op
mmincinci 17 Posted November 12, 2015 It is so worth it. I would do it all over again. Where are you having your surgery? I had mine at Fairfield Mercy with Dr. Dahman and they were a great team. Everyone has fear and trepidation. It is a big deal. Your wanting pizza is what my nutritionist called"last supper syndrome". I had it too! Gained weight before the surgery.
