Shaunisha 2 Posted November 11, 2015 Hello, everyone. Yesterday I had my first appt with someone that basically went over my application and set me up with a few appointments. My first appointment to meet the surgeon is Dec 9 and I also have an appt Dec 8 I think its with the nutrionist. I'm so excited, yet very scared. Also my insurance is making me go the 6 month supervised route so I'm looking at mid May early June for surgery hopefully.

hollybower 122 Posted November 11, 2015 I'm also required to do the 6 months! I just had my second appointment a few days ago. With the holidays and all the huddle and bustle it should go by rather quickly. Welcome!
blmcdbug 3 Posted November 11, 2015 I haven't gotten to the doctor yet but I think my insurance company requires 1 year But I have had a month here and there of supervised diet with a quack doctor, but I am unsure if that will count. I am excited for you!!
newmebithebypass 713 Posted November 12, 2015 @@blmcdbug most insurance requirements are 6 months back to back
blmcdbug 3 Posted November 13, 2015 Thanks skepchick! I think that is what is required so hopefully 6 months from 11/30 I will have a surgery date. Seems like a long time from now
newmebithebypass 713 Posted November 13, 2015 It's less time than you think I started in August and have until February for my nutritionist classes and I can't believe how much I'm learning. Plus all the friends I'm making. I only have one more appointment then I can start scheduling all the tests I need for the Surgeon. Seriously your not going to regret having to wait 6 months because it gives you time to work on 1 bad habit a month
blmcdbug 3 Posted November 13, 2015 Good view on it!! I will change my perspective.
