rian_ 7 Posted November 10, 2015 It's hit me today that I'm finally getting my gastric sleeve tomorrow morning. I'll be at the hospital by 6am so bright and early! I hope and pray all goes well and everything is a success and no post op complications for anyone else that is going in tomorrow as well! Positive vibes, thoughts, and prayers are appreciated. rian_ 7 Posted November 11, 2015 Thank you everyone! The surgery went well but recovery was a bit rough. I had the worst nausea from all the stomach acid lingering around. Pain hasn't been much of a problem either than when I'm dry heaving or having the hiccups. I'm doing a lot better today and continue to ambulate as much as I can. So glad you are up and walking as well. It'll be here before you know! I think the anesthesia just did a number on me bc once that wore off I felt a 100x better. The pain post op will be there but that's expected. Most of my pain is on the right side but I've been trying to just take the pain medicine at night time so I don't become dependent on it.
