Why not just keep going. You're almost there.

"Dying for a cigarette"...

Irony?

Probably not...

But it amused me...

Anyway...

Don't smoke...

If you've not smoked in a month then you're no longer addicted...

You're not "dying for" one...

You're not even craving one...

You just want one...

But don't...

Not only will that shit kill you, but it f***ing stinks!!!

Honestly I wondered, but after surgery my appetite for a cigarette was carved. I have no want or interest in them. Your body is going to completely change in its desires and cravings. I lit one, and tried one huff and threw it out. It gives you gas that's painful and it tastes awful now.

Thanks for not judging me btw and thanks for sharing your experience.

I switched to vaping, now I can't stand cigs. Good luck, but remember what is happening to your stomach. It is cut. The cut needs time to heal. Tobacco and smoke just works against it. You just have to respect the sleeve for at least a month post surgery. I don't want to freak you out, but if you need it, Google and you will find plenty of pictures to convince you that you must give yourself time to heal.

No problem, I am blessed to have this surgery. Blessed that I killed two birds with one stone. Stay strong, you won't regret it!

When I lit a cigarette is was more to prove to myself that what I was craving was in the past. I wanted to prove to myself that I didn't "need" it anymore. It may not make sense, but it helped me a lot. I took one puff off a cigarette, I don't think it did much harm. And I'm fully quit now, so no future harm. It was just reassurance.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
