I've been getting the 60 grams of Protein I need daily. Today I'm really having a hard time getting it in. I'm at about 50 grams. I can't eat or drink anything else. I feel like I'm gonna be sick. I am stressing so hard right now Bc I didn't get my needed amount. Is one day and 10 grams less something I really need to stress about? Someone please tell me I'm overacting!

Then stop. You hit 50. Let it be good enough. It's of no good if you bring it all up. In the morning review your food log and think about way to better hit your Protein goal.

Do the best you can. Maybe keep it basic like Soup with unflavored Protein Powder. If it last longer than 3 days I would call the doctor.

I am 3 months out, but to make sure I get my Protein I put a scoop of GENEPRO powder in my yogurt, which is usually my afternoon snack. It does not change the taste at all to me, and between that and my premier Protein shake for Breakfast, that's 60gms. I am now at 80-100gms, but by lunchtime I am more then halfway there, just a suggestion.

I am still in the purée phase so I don't have a lot of food to mix with protein powder but I do use about a scoop throughout the day adding it to everything I eat.

I hate to break it to you but the premier Protein shakes are made from a whey concentrate, not a whey isolate, so your body doesn't absorb the entire 30 grams. You're probably only absorbing about 15 grams. You need a whey isolate in order to absorb all of it.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
