Marimaru 7 Posted July 18, 2007 This is evidently a new-ish procedure created by a doctor here in Los Angeles. It's called the Laser Bra, and what he does is instead of discarding the removed skin, he uses it to reinforce the lift, by attaching it to the breast wall, basically like it says, to create an internal bra.

Some of the results on his site look really nice, others are just so-so (laserbra.com). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here has had this procedure, or known anyone who had and what their thoughts on it were?

Also, I just can't decide whether I should do this (the lift in general) soon, or wait until after I have kids, risking that I'll want/need another one... opinions on that would be good too
HarleyNana 10 Posted July 18, 2007 I haven't heard of it, but it sounds of interest. If you hear more, please share. Thanks
Zannie 6 Posted July 28, 2007 I've never heard of this procedure, but it sounds smart -- a built-in shelf! Some (many) people are not able to breast-feed after breast surgery -- you may want to keep that in mind, too, when making your decision. If you'd consider a lift after kids (breast-feeding or not, your boobs change while PG & after!), I'd hold off on any breast work now.
Jachut 487 Posted July 28, 2007 I would have to say wait till you're done having kids, pregnancy and breastfeeding wreak absolute havoc on your breasts. And breastfeeding is just so important and so special, it would really be a shame to have your choice taken away from you due to having had surgery - its very very common to not be able to breastfeed after breast surgeries. NanaRenan 0 Posted July 28, 2007 I have to echo the wise ladies and say, wait. At your age there's plenty of time to get things fixed later. I nursed all four of my children and wouldn't take the whole world AND a perfect bod in trade for that experience. It's a precious thing that can't be done over later. There'll always be boob jobs, and the techniques will only improve while you're waiting.
lo2us 1 Posted July 28, 2007 I nursed my son and it was hell. My boobs shrank on top of that. My advice is to wait too unless you're absolutely positive you don't want to nurse your baby.
