IIRC I think the biggest concern was they are not whey isolates.

I used them when I did the Atkins diet a couple years ago. The taste is tolerable. My NUT says they are not high enough in Protein and while they are ok in a pinch, they don't pack enough punch to be a true Meal Replacement.

I agree with @@RILEYSMOM22 in that they are okay.....tasted fine to me and were actually on our approved list of Protein drinks......but they only have 15 grams of Protein if I remember correctly.

The 100 calorie / 20 gram protein MUSCLE MILK shakes are usually sold at the same locations and were better for me. Premier Protein Shakes were even better flavor and had 30 grams protein, I believe, but weren't as easy to find.

The blue-topped Atkins shakes became my last choice.

My preference is making my own using Syntrax Nectur w/ yogurt and/or frozen fruit & Silk milk. I keep Premier Protein shakes in my refrigerator so if I'm in a hurry I can just grab one & go. I order Premier Protein from their website. You can get a pack of 18 which you can't get from costco. I get my Syntrax Nectur from Amazon or The Vitamin Shoppe.< /p>
