Katsitsyahawe 16 Posted November 5, 2015 So I'm 3 weeks post op and eating soft foods. My birthday is November 17. My family and friends want to have a get together with appetizer type food for them ( a meal for me lol ) and do presents. They keep asking what they could make for me because they want to support me and include me like normal. Ideas???!!!!

Dub 9,922 Posted November 5, 2015 Guacamole ? One of the simplest and most flavorful homemade foods I've ever encountered. Maybe by then you'll be able to eat Quest chips or could make some kale chips to spread it on. Another thought that comes to mind would be a Crockpot of chili, stew, Soup. Sure is the right time for it and everyone could enjoy it. Happy Birthday and you have a great supportive family. Good stuff.
Blue1213 122 Posted November 5, 2015 I had surgery 3 weeks before my birthday. My family took me to a frozen yogurt shop. I could only eat a tiny amount but it felt like a celebration and a birthday treat.
