melissa'sjourney 1 Posted November 4, 2015 hi i had surgery 12/26/14.. This has truly been a journey.. however i am pleased with the results I was diagnosed with H Pylori prior to my surgery and was obviously not clear of the bacteria during or after my surgery. I was placed on a very strong prevpac and for a while seemed to be doing fine. I am now 11 months out, 125 lbs down. But my stomach is bloated.. my back hurts and i feel bad. I think my H. pylori is rearing its ugly head.. Has anyone else had this problem or any suggestions
2goldengirl 2,076 Posted November 4, 2015 The symptoms you mention aren't indicative of H. pylori infection, why do you think that's it? The majority of people who harbor H. pylori in the GI tract neverr experience any symptoms at all. A small percentage develop symptomatic gastritis or gatric or duodenal ulcers. A much smaller percentage than that develop gastric cancer. I'd definitely call your doctor about your symptoms. They could have many causes.
