Rarely here 63 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) I lost my mom 5 years ago and my best girlfriend 2 years ago. They were the most supportive people in my life. I would give anything for them to be here to support me and Celebrate my success. I know they would have been more proud of me than anyone❤️ Edited November 3, 2015 by beautyispain
Dub 9,922 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) My grandparents. They were all super people with one clear priority.....the wellbeing of their families. I was truly blessed to have them all attend my wedding and my grandfathers each signed my wedding license as witnesses. I did not know then how big of an event that was going to be. I miss each of them and try my best to pass along their values to my son....now a teenager. I guess that's one reason I enjoy grilling & cooking for him so much. In doing so, I'm able to pass along foods that they each made vital parts of our family meals. He didn't know them directly but I try to ensure he knows all about them. They would be happy that I've had the wls. They would be glad I'd taken steps to prolong my life and Lord willing....perhaps one day become a grandfather, too. pixieredhead 79 Posted November 4, 2015 My mom for sure! She passed due to cancer about a year and a half ago. We both struggled with our weight and after she passed i decided that i wanted to live my life to its fullest since she didn't get to.
Madmax68 227 Posted November 4, 2015 My grandmother and I were very close and she passed several years ago. Interestingly, when I came home from the hospital I had a dream that we were sipping iced tea on a porch, talking about my surgery. She gave me a big hug (she gave the best hugs) and told me how proud she was of me. I woke up with happy tears for that visit from heaven.
