I'm two weeks out of surgery, how many calories should I be consuming a day? Right now I'm between 200-300 a day.

You should not be worried about calories at all. You should be counting grams of Protein. It's easier anyway and more important at the moment! Has your NUT or dr given you how many grams of protein you need to reach?

After RNY gastric bypass surgery the three essential elements of the program are Protein, Vitamins and fluids. These daily requirements are important and critical. food is secondary. This is because your body is converting stored fat into the energy that drives your body. Thus you lose weight. Consuming only 200-300 calories per day is not a problem. You will not starve to death. Concentrate on the essentials.
