kadie777 50 Posted November 3, 2015 Hi. I'm new here, hoping to have sleeve surgery in late January or early February. Got my labs back and my Iron among other things was low (also low D and low B12). I'm scheduled for an iron infusion tomorrow but I'm anxious about that. Anyone go through an iron infusion? Any complications? Thanks ☺️

My iron was low, I take 750 mg a day and 100,000 units a week of Vitamin D.

kadie777 50 Posted November 3, 2015 I have had chronic low Iron. I'm not sure that I know how it feels to have normal iron levels. I have felt fatigued for a long time. I hope the infusion helps but I get anxious because I've never had an infusion before. I read about side effects, and although serious side effects are rare, I had almost convinced myself to cancel earlier today.
