fabnsab 19 Posted November 2, 2015 I leave Tuesday from Cleveland to San Diego and I am taking a carry on only. Does anyone have any insight what the best way to pack my shakes, etc is? Thanks
Mom26 313 Posted November 2, 2015 Can you bring powders? I doubt they'll let you take liquids. Or pick some up in San Diego. Buy a Water after you go through security.
2goldengirl 2,076 Posted November 2, 2015 You can't take liquids unless you check luggage. Pick them up in San Diego.
fabnsab 19 Posted November 2, 2015 I had my surgery in Mexico, OCC and Dr. Ortiz. I had surgery on Wednesday, released to hotel on Thursday and traveld home on Sunday. I packed crystal light to help flavor Water and a little powered broth to mix. I was not allowed to have anything but Water and broth those frist few days. I did not need my Protein shakes, so did not need to pack anything. The hotel has bottled water and broth. Everything you will need for the first few days. Thank you. I'm having surgery w Dr. Ortiz THIS Wednesday! Lol My need for Protein is the day before. We travel tomorrow for 8 hours then we are at the hotel for the day. Buying it in San Diego airport is a good idea.
fabnsab 19 Posted November 2, 2015 The Marriott does sale bottled Water. You are provided with two bottles included in the price. Just thinking ahead because you will walk across into Mexico, less you have the better. I had an excellent experience with OCC and Dr.Ortiz and his staff. I was well cared for and never felt uncomfortable in the least. I was feeling fine within a few days of surgery and not needing pain meds. I am 13 days out today and the only way you know I had surgery is the incision on belly (which are healing fine). Dr Ortiz is extremely committed, excellent doc and has a great sence of humor. You will do awesome. Ty so much! That's so encouraging! I'm glad you're doing well.
