I avoid corn (kernels). They are starchy, and I typically like my corn mixed with rice (another starch) so I just don't bother with it.

I have eaten corn bread; but won't make it often cause it s a trigger food for me.

I avoided corn on the cob this past summer since i was a fairly new post op, but will enjoy it a little next summer.

Very nice thank you everyone. I make cornbread casserole maybe once or twice a year so if I did decided to have a few bites it would be just those times. My trigger foods unfortunately is sweets! Cake brownies ect... Anything from a bakery.

@@Daisee68 If I'm not mistaken, cashews are also particularly high in monounsaturated fat, which might make them a better choice than other nuts, depending on your view of nutrition.

Thanks @gpmed. Good to know. I know nuts can be a good source of Protein so I was frustrated that I couldn't have them. Same for corn. Glad to know I can occasionally have that.
