IncredibleShrinkingMan 437 Posted October 30, 2015 I'd say it's pretty normal. However, it is much more frequent when I go a long time (6+ hours) without any food intake. In that situation, it is very comparable to pre-op hunger. They say don't snack between meals, but honestly, when I nibble all day, I don't think about food at all, and despite the grazing, my weight loss has been fine (80 lbs, 2 stalls through 12 weeks). BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted October 30, 2015 Are you on a PPI of any form? (Omeprazole of prilosec). Acid often masks as hunger.

Amazing and congrats!
lorri716 256 Posted November 7, 2015 I'm 2 months out and frequently get hungry too. I do take a pill for acid reflux everyday but still get hungry. I think it's pretty normal but I don't know.
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted November 7, 2015 Early on I needed to have 3 meals and at least one planned snack a day. Even though I was eating less I was hungry because I couldn't eat enough at one time. Once I added in an afternoon snack and upped my PPI to 40 mgs I was good to go.
