fatnomore65 10 Posted October 29, 2015 So I'm very confused I am six months in and of lost 108 pounds which is great. But the last six weeks weight-loss is been very slow. I know that I am certainly eating more than I was before but I am also working out and burning more calories. I don't take in more than 1000 cal in a day. And I'm eating very healthy. No fried food no bread no Pasta no rice. On the average day I burn between 11 and 1500 cal and exercise. How could be that I'm not still losing weight. Am I not taking enough calories in and starting my body. Any help would be appreciated
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted October 29, 2015 Congratulations on the weight loss! It sounds like you are doing great. Our bodies are complex systems, not simple machines. Slow downs and stalls are all part of the process. Have you talked with your NUT? Are you still getting in all of your Protein and fluids? (A red flag for me is when I see a post like yours that focuses on calories but doesn't mention protein.) I would say you stay the course, but you might want to talk with your NUT to make sure you are getting in all the nutrition you need for your activity level. BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted October 29, 2015 Sounds perfectly normal. I realized around 8 or 9 months in I had to work a little harder to continue to lose. It may just be you are nearing the end of that honeymoon period where the weight practically falls off. If you are still losing, even if it's a bit slower than previously, stay the course. It may just be your body adjusting. It would be nice it weight loss was a linear process. It's not, there are slow downs, stops, stalls and occasionally even small gains. If you are really concerned, call your nutritionist. If they say everything is fine, just hang in there. It sounds like you're doing well!
fatnomore65 10 Posted October 29, 2015 Thanks for the replies. Yes I spoke with my nutritionist who more or less said increase your Water and activity. I drink a minimum of 64 and more like 96 ounces of water a day. I also taken at least 70 g and trying to go for 100 g of Protein. I guess it's all part of the process and I would just keep at it
