purz59 57 Posted October 29, 2015 Folks, by this time tomorrow surgery will be over... I'm excited and scared! In 10 days I've only managed to lose one pound on the preop diet, which is very disappointing, but I never went hungry. Everyone say a prayer for me tonight. OKCPirate 5,323 Posted October 29, 2015 @@purz59 - I had mine in Mexico, so no they didn't. But I was also off the table quickly which helped. Dub's surgeon was kind enough to suck out the gas before they patched him up so he didn't have a problem. GasX strips do seem to work as does as much walking as you can do.
