LadiSani 59 Posted October 28, 2015 Well I was scheduled for surgery today and it was postponed indefinitely yesterday. ???? My triglycerides were very high on the lab work and they want me to get that under control first. Who knows how long it will be til that happens. Any ideas on how long with diet changes and meds that I will see improvement?
The Candidate 3,215 Posted October 28, 2015 I don't know about the timeframe for improvements, but just wanted to say I'm so sorry to hear your surgery was postponed. I hope things look brighter soon!
animallover1247 249 Posted October 28, 2015 I stopped eating fast food and my triglycerides went from 240 to 147 in 50 days. I am not on any meds for cholesterol. My mom was able to get her numbers to normal in three months and the only change she made was eating oatmeal everyday (she doesn't eat fast food).
DaisyAmy 561 Posted November 2, 2015 So sorry! What a disappointment for you. Having my surgery cancelled or waking up to find they couldn't do it for some reason is my biggest fear!! Hoping things get back on track quickly for you!! ????
