hollybower 122 Posted October 27, 2015 I know everyone gets excited over different things. But tomorrow is my psych evaluation. It was only a couple of weeks ago that I found out that my insurance covered the surgery and then I decided it was time to go ahead and press forward for a permanent change. I am in my six months supervised diet which is a requirement by my insurance. But I was told to go ahead and get my visit in with my nutritionist and get my psych evaluation done. So tomorrow is both my nutrition visit and my psych evaluation and I cannot believe that within just a couple of weeks time that those little milestones are here. I cannot wait for the surgery, nor can I wait for all of the little milestones after if this is exciting to me now, I can only imagine what the rest of my journey holds. The Candidate 3,215 Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) Yes, it's quite the journey, isn't it? When you're immersed in it, it can feel a bit overwhelming. But I can promise you that some day soon you'll look back on all this and it'll feel like nothing in the grand scheme of things. Before you know it you'll be on the other side, and I can assure you that great things are awaiting you here! Good luck! ssflbelle 829 Posted October 27, 2015 As The Post Op said Overwhelming that is for sure what happened to me yesterday. My 5th of 6 pre surgery appt. Found out that The Psych Dr and the Pulmonary Dr both didn't submit their evaluations yet despite me having seen them in the first week of October. I was so mad and frustrated with that and then to found out I only lost 2 pounds during this 5th month diet pushed me over the edge and I began to turn into a basket case. I am sure they were glad when I left. I am getting fearful that all my documentation may not get in by Nov 21 my last visit of the 6 months. I do have a insurance case manager and she has assured me that if I have all my documentation I will get approved, so I am not worried about that. But surgery will not be until Jan as my surgeon is going out of the country Dec 15 and will not be back until after the New Year. I hope the journey on the post surgery side will be less overwhelming. Hollybower good luck tomorrow. Hope all visits go well. I too can barely wait and wish I already had my sleeve. But hopefully only 8 to 10 more week to go for me. It will come sooner than you think,
