wannaBthinsoon 1,634 Posted November 9, 2015 Yep, it worked. I dropped 6 pounds, and it hasn't come back. I plan to do this again around the holidays, and then again in January. so I meet my goal in April for my 1 year anniversary.
kranky813 477 Posted November 9, 2015 I'm on a 3 week stall right now. I just keep at it and I know the weight will come off. It's hard at times because the negative thoughts come in and I keep thinking... I am only going to lose this much... or after all the money I spent I only lost 40lbs... or even what am I doing wrong... I know how the thought process goes... the weight will come off. Just be patient and don't drive yourself crazy
WorkinOnMe 596 Posted November 9, 2015 (edited) Longest was stalled for 3 weeks .... ugh!!! NUT told me to try to increase my Fluid intake and to make sure my Protein was a minimum of 70g per day. Also she suggested I change up my meal routine and my exercise routine to "shake up" my body. So, instead of my normal yogurt for Breakfast I had dinner at Breakfast (larger meal) and then 3 small meals the rest of the day. I also mixed up my walking routes so that I wasn't doing the same hills at the same time. 2 days later my stall was over. Done that twice now and it seems to work. Good luck!!!! LisaPunkinHead 187 Posted November 9, 2015 I was stalled for 6 weeks. I concentrated on getting my Protein and fluids in and did a couple of higher-intensity workouts. It finally broke!
lorri716 256 Posted November 10, 2015 Have you broken through your stall? I seem to stall every other week or so. How high was your bmi? Mine was barely over 40 so I'll be a slow loser. I'm 2 months out and only down 40lbs since preop liquids til today. I'm losing about 2-3 lb per week max. And that's on weeks I dont stall. Stalls suck but we will get through them. Cape Crooner 589 Posted November 10, 2015 I had a brief slow down in week 4, but since adding more real meat, I have accelerated my loses. Also, I've been able to cut back to one Protein shake per day and still getting in 70+ grams of Protein a day.
kemahaney 14 Posted November 10, 2015 I go with the flow and make minor changes. Most times I need to eat a little more or drink a little more. That shakes things up enough the scale moves. It is hard when not hungry because my natural thing to do is not eat but I have to.
