LMolina1987 75 Posted October 26, 2015 So I was sleeved Oct 8 and everything's been good didn't need a drain seriously no pain what so ever my Tylenol is still full all three bottles day of surgery I was 297 before when I first began I was 315 now I'm 277.8. So happy that I've made this choice for myself. And I no longer depend on my cane to walk short distances only have issues walking far distances. tcrehm 101 Posted October 26, 2015 @@LMolina1987 I was just thinking today about how happy I am that I had the surgery. It wasn't nearly as painful as I expected and recovery has been better than expected as well. I am 5 weeks post op and so happy with my weight loss so far. I didn't tell hardly anyone because I didn't want the naysayers voices in my head before, during and after surgery because it was my choice and I had done the research and asked the questions to lead me to this place in my life with decision to have WLS so their uninformed feedback was not desirable for me. Mom26 313 Posted October 26, 2015 Great job! It must feel so liberating not relying on your cane for short distance walking. Imagine what it'll be like when you don't need it at all??
