I'm jotted down all your ideas. The picture thing is great advice because I hate pictures of myself. So that will be a nice thing to look back on. Plus logging the supplements. Have you tried the Vitamin Patch? My stomach tends to get upset whenever I take Vitamins so I'm really worried about taking vitamins. But one of my other site buddies told me about the patch. And I'm going to order B-12 shots. Yay!!! Again congratulations and thank you!

You totally just inspired me. Before your surgery we are same stats across the board. My surgery is in less than 3 weeks. Thank you for posting. You look amazing and it sounds like you feel great too.

Congratulations, I know you and I had ours right about the same time and my weight-lost numbers are almost the exact same as yours which is encouraging to me. Thanks for the update and for your tips!

Thanks. I have not tried the patch. I take Beyond Tangy Tangerine. It has prebiotics and Probiotics in it. It's a powder that I mix with Florida's Lit and Fit OJ. When I forget it I keep some vits with me that I got from my surgeons office. I also take chewable Calcium plus Vitamin D daily.

I forgot mention that I walk in place or do leg lifts when getting ready and cleaning. That helps me get in my steps. ????????

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
