MzB 297 Posted October 24, 2015 Anyone else tried this yet? It is actually pretty good and the sugars and carbs are pretty low.

UalreadyKnow 843 Posted October 24, 2015 Please save this as a treat. It was tested for nutritional value and came up with up to 68% more calories than what is printed on label. Hate to be the party pooper but this will probably cause a stall if you're still in the losing phase! Nevertheless I love exploring all these options that keep popping up!!! Here's a pic of the article:
MzB 297 Posted October 24, 2015 I got salted caramel and vanilla bean. I like the vanilla bean better of the two. Don't get me wrong, this isn't going to taste just like ice cream. But that may be unrealistic to expect from something that is only 35 calories, no fat and limited carbs. It is more like a gelato that isn't quite as sweet. That being said, it is a great option for those of us who are on the Bariactric way of life. ????
MzB 297 Posted October 24, 2015 They seem to address this article on their site, but like anything it is up to you what you eat. ????
UalreadyKnow 843 Posted October 24, 2015 Absolutely!!! And what works for one may not work for the other, no doubt about it!!! Just wanted to give a heads up, if it doesn't have any negatives please tell me so I can run out and buy that salted caramel ????
MzB 297 Posted October 24, 2015 I would be concerned about the article as well and I appreciate you bring it up since I hadn't seen it. I hate to feel I am getting duped. Just FYI, I thought the salted caramel was so so. The reviews on Amazon weren't wrong, it does taste probably a little more like a frozen Protein shake/drink if I think hard about it. But I have been using the syntax nectar cookie flavor frozen in a Zuko as an ice cream alternative and that is similar in taste and calories as well. I guess I don't really need it to be "real" ice cream as long as it gets me past the craving without mr going out and getting a bizarre. ????
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted October 24, 2015 Halo Top taste better.

OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted October 24, 2015 Glad I read the whole thread, because I was just going to suggest Halo Top as tasting way better. I haven't tried either, but I have Halo Top on my list if I ever get interested in ice cream. You can really easily make your own low carb sugar free ice cream. I used to make it all the time and people can't tell the difference. http://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/2012/11/chocolate-ice-cream-low-carb-sugar-free-2.html The strawberry ice cream recipe is really good from that site but it is in the cookbook and it is the one I have made.
