Lee4love1 0 Posted July 16, 2007 I saw the "Montel Show" today. It was about Older Women--who Loved Younger Men. One lady--age 46 with a man who is 31 another Woman 36 who as with a Man who is 24.. Is this a trend who's time has come--finally? From a personal point of view--I have had the hardest time telling any Woman even 55 to 62 she was adorable. I am now aged 50--I am told I am a "baby"==can you imagine this?:cry
Alexandra 55 Posted July 16, 2007 Trends, shmends. The only thing that makes a "trend" is media attention. I am sure there are no more December/May marriages than there ever were.
Marimaru 7 Posted July 16, 2007 My mom's boyfriend is 10 years younger than her. They've been together over 10 years, and will probably grow old together... I don't know about age difference being a 'trend' so much as something that is more acceptable...

Melissa S 1 Posted July 17, 2007 Up for bid... My fiance Average height and build... Bosnian, speaks several languages, comes with an Xbox 360 and several laptop computers. Needs training...ALOT OF TRAINING!!! Guaranteed to get on your nerves to the point where you want to throw yourself off a bridge! Starting price .... $
valzie 0 Posted July 17, 2007 You would get more money for him if he was already trained.LOL
Melissa S 1 Posted July 17, 2007 I've tried the training... nothing works.
Esmeralda 2 Posted July 17, 2007 The training won't work believe me I am 32 and my busband is 26 and I am ready to divorce him, the muturity level is way off and I just can stand him anymore, I have 3 kids and with him it's 4. My first husband was 10 years older and it was much better but we divorces because he was in the music industry and he was always gone which I did not like. Melissa S 1 Posted July 17, 2007 For me its not so much the maturity level... he's seen alot in his 26 years and had to grow up fast because of living in a warzone (Bosnia) until he was 11... For me its the pure laziness and just being stubborn.
valzie 0 Posted July 17, 2007 My husband is the same age as I am 39 and I have the same problem. It seems as though he is happy as long as everything is going his way and he is not asked to do anything. Which is really not fair on my part. Since we are on the subject he has lost 30 pounds since I have decided to get the band. I am being banded Aug 13th (ias long as insurance approves). Maybe he is afraid Im going to get thin and leave his ass!(LOL) Anyway that felt better! Sometimes you just need to vent. So what I was getting at was I don't think that is the age thing I just think that is their personality. I like to share with you the quote of my great Aunt after my uncle passed away. It was about six months later and her and my grandmother were talking. My grandmother made the comment "Well Dora maybe you need a boyfriend" To this my Aunt replied "Oh no...I had enough man for a lifetime"!
Melissa S 1 Posted July 17, 2007 My fiance has gained like 60lbs in the past 2 years since leaving the Army... his mother came to visit last month and begged me to get him to eat better and start going to the gym. I just want him to get healthy...and not sit in front of the TV or computer all night. He sounds alot like your husband.. he's perfectly fine and happy unless you ask him to help out with something... then he turns into a pouting 3 year old! Esmeralda 2 Posted July 17, 2007 I think it's a man thing because unless I tell him exactly what I need done or how to do it he seems to be retarded and can't do anything on his own, the sad part is that I have one child with him and I don't see myself staying with him long term. Maybe I just need to stay away from men period!!
