MeMe8264 34 Posted October 23, 2015 Greetings. I had my sleeve surgery today. Was able to drink Water immediately and like a champ. But after I finished the little hospital bottle shots (about 10 oz), I began having pains in my stomach and I still do, even though I've slowed down on the water drinking. Are these pains from drinking too much water? Or are they simply the notorious gas pains? The pain is on the upper sides of my stomach. Hurts. Help.
thisfathasgot2go 235 Posted October 23, 2015 Try your best to burp (gag self) and/or take gas-x strips to fart. You are doing great for being sleeved today!

Dub 9,922 Posted October 23, 2015 Not sure. I wasn't allowed Water until the day after. Only ice chips the day of surgery. They wanted me taking in 4oz. per hour.
