Ilovecats1985 100 Posted October 22, 2015 Yesterday I joined the sleeved crowd. I am still in hospital, not feeling fantastic but I've felt worse. Waking up in recovery yesterday all i could think was "what had done!" As the pain is slightly better I'm no longer thinking that. I've only been able to drink Water everything else makes my tummy hurt. And I'm starting to have some gas pains but overall everything is good
JamieLogical 8,710 Posted October 22, 2015 Hang in there. The first few days can be rough. The first few weeks drag on forever. But you will definitely see improvement day by day and you'll adapt. Sip, sip, sip. Walk, walk, walk. And get your Protein in. And stick to the plan!

Elode 8,093 Posted October 22, 2015 I don't know anyone who enjoyed the recovery. Depending on your procedure you just got stabbed in the stomach multiple times. It will get better soon...congratulations!
Dub 9,922 Posted October 22, 2015 That's great news. The healing can go pretty fast. Like everyone said, you'll feel better if you can get your Water & Protein shakes in. The nutrition plan you were given is not a suggestion. It's the roadmap to your success. Follow it to your rapidly improving health.
seaux_beautiful_vsg 63 Posted October 22, 2015 Recovery wasn't that bad for me. I couldn't seem to wake up from the drugs but other than that I was not in an intense amount of pain. That may have been due to that nifty little button they gave me lol. Otherwise this is by far one of the best decision's I've made for myself and my life in a very long time. The first week or so was slow going but by week three I felt great... I'm at week five today and still feeling good... Had a minor set back but no complaints. Just know you're in for a big learning period and in for making a lot of adjustments to be successful. Good luck!
