Try Isopure or ProtiDiet liquid beverage concentrates. Also, bone broth is clear and has more protein than regular broth.< /p> (I am not in MO, but my mom is from the Bootheel.) alw0716 1 Posted January 8, 2016 Hi friends. I got my surgery on Monday. Surgery day and my stay in the hospital was pretty uneventful. They were able to do one incision around the belly button. I was in a little bit of pain but not too bad. Walking really did help a lot! After coming home they gave me some pain killers which I have only needed to take at night to help me sleep. I was asked to get down at least 64oz clear liquid and 15-30 grams clear Liquid Protein. The Water for me is no problem but the Protein water is NASTY!!! Like it's worse to me than cough Syrup but I've been getting it down. Today is day 4 and for the first time I feel I have something stuck in my throat. I'm not sure what's that all about but it makes me pretty uncomfortable. Just wanted to give you all an update!
im4givn 19 Posted January 8, 2016 Glad you are doing well. I am just at the beginning of this. My first NUT appointment is the 18th...then the psych later at the end of the month. Insurance requires 3 months of nutrition counseling.
