Any torah observant sleevers?

I know this is probably a very unusual question... I've had lots of people try and talk me out of this due to their opinion that the surgery is against Torah. I've already made my decision sleeve date : 11/16/15... however I'm just curious if anyone else has had an issue as this??

Having this surgery is a benefit to one's health. .. so you can have a healthy life after... and that's what the Torah wants you to do... this is absolutely not against the Torah! !
