I just bought these on amazon! Have not tried them yet, as I am still on purees, but they sound too good to be true, don't they, lol. A ton of Protein, low sugar… what is not to love?! I am curious about responses, because I figure I must be missing a negative somewhere… like how they actually taste ;) I found the sea salt at Randall's, but bought bbq and sour cream on amazon… I'm an optimist, what can I say ;)

Anyone eat these there Protein low calorie low sugar low carb chips with high Protein? I'm thinking I may have to get these to get my protein in I'm assuming they are easier to get in then a bar. But one bag has 21 grams of protein!

I bought a couple of bags of them and wasn't a fan. They have the "crunch" of a chip, but they don't taste like chips. I can definitely taste the whey...ugh.

The downside is they taste like cardboard with processed fake food powder on top LOL

AT least to me

I bought them thinking they would be great. Um not so much. I agree with jess9395 they taste like cardboard with some flavoring. Couldn't finish the bag and I have three more in the cupboard. Maybe I can pawn them of to my next unsuspecting guest at home!

I have had the BBQ flavor and did not think they were bad. Definitely satisfied the need to crunch. I was never a big chip eater so maybe that is why I like them more than other people.

Being a huge (literally - LOL) chip fan pre-op, I got super excited when I heard about these so I tried all flavors prior to surgery - YUCK to all of them! I agree with everyone else ... tasteless cardboard with fake powder flavoring. I love most of the Quest Protein bars and especially like making warm ooey gooey Cookies out of them in the microwave but the chips are just not good. They are used in several of the recipes on their website, after you grind them to a powder, so I've been tempted to buy a bag or two to try them in that capacity. I'll let you know if that happens.

@@sarahbethemails, I was super excited to find these in my local supermarket, but not so excited after I tasted them which surprised me because Quest bars are great! They a crisp like a chip, but suddenly dissolve in your mouth and have an awful taste and aftertaste.

Ok, I bought too many of these on Amazon.com, lol… happy to hear that there are some recipes for which they can be used, I will check it out! Thanks!

What about the Quest spaghetti "pasta"…?… I ordered off Amazon and received yesterday… super weird texture, thought the bag was filled with clear slime at first, lol… Anyone try this stuff?

Meh. I bought a few bags. They are okay. Nothing to write home about. I'm not going to buy them again.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
