Pre-Op NOT all liquid diet

So going through all my paperwork from my surgeon, I find that I will not be on an all liquid diet 2 weeks pre op. My diet will have 2 Protein Shakes a sensible dinner along with 3 Snacks throughout the day. Dinner is a 4oz meat with 2-3 cups of veggies and the snacks are 1cup veggies or a single serving of my choice of dairy product like yogurt or cottage cheese. Anyone else have a pre op diet that was NOT all liquid?

Many if not most have a pre-op diet that is not all liquid. I think the general focus is high Protein, low carb, low calorie -- there is nothing magical about liquids pre-surgery, according to my surgeon.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive).
